Robin Granites Japanangka, born around 1953, is a significant Australian Aboriginal artist and a Senior Warlpiri Elder. Since the beginning of the Aboriginal art movement in the 1970s, Granites has been painting and exhibiting his work, using traditional colors to depict inherited Dreaming stories centered on the site of Janyinki. His art is featured in numerous Australian and international collections, including the National Gallery of Victoria, Art Gallery of New South Wales, and ArtBank. His biography is also included in the "Aboriginal Artists dictionary of biographies".
